Shafdar got back to winning ways at Chester on Saturday, winning the 1m2½f handicap under Cieren Fallon for The Green Bar Owners.
He travelled well throughout the race and stayed on strongly in the closing stages to win by a length. Cieren gave him a good ride and Shafdar showed a good attitude when it mattered to get his head in front.
It was great to see Shafdar back in the winner’s enclosure and a good result for The Green Bar Owners.
