Macanudo followed up his recent Wolverhampton success with another win at Bath yesterday, making it two wins on the bounce for the Giddy Up You Good Thing Racing Syndicate.
Jack Callan gave him a good ride in the 5f handicap and Macanudo showed plenty of determination to get his head in front, winning by a neck.
The weather was certainly testing at Bath, with conditions very different to those at Doncaster earlier in the day. It felt more like November than September, but Macanudo handled the Good to Soft ground well.
It is particularly pleasing to see him put two wins together for his kind owners, who have been very patient with him.
