After a barrage of winners on the flat in the last week, it was back to jumps racing today and the lovely mare Rebel Yeats deservedly won her first race over fences with victory in the ATR Handicap Chase at Hexham under Tom O’Brien.
Jumping well, Rebel Yeats was allowed to join issue two out and then given the office by Tom, she quickly put the race to bed, eventually coming home an easy six lengths clear of River Icon.
Rebel Yeats has been a model of consistency under Rules and should continue to pay her way over fences.
