The lightly raced Ejtilaab for Paul Wildes has missed a couple of recent entries due to the bad ground on the turf, but made a successful switch to the all-weather with a win at Chelmsford City under Richard Kingsote.
He took keen hold early and ran wide from his draw in 10, but by halfway he had worked his way into second place.
Richard stokes him up to hit the front over 1f out and then stayed on strongly to the line, beating Highfield Princess by three parts of a length.
