Mustarrid won the 2019 MansionBet Handicap at Nottingham off a mark of 84 under Paul Hanagan, and 12 months on, he repeated that success – this time from a rating of 82.
In 2019 the winning margin was 5 lengths, but in 2020 it went up … to six lengths!
Although, things didn’t look too promising early on as Mustarrid missed the break and still had plenty to do turning for home.
Racing towards the stands’ rail, Paul got a terrific run out his mount from two down and the result was never in doubt fully a furlong out.
