Cool ride at Worcester to get Sky home

Cool Sky completed a fantastic second half of August for the yard when winning at Worcester on Sunday.

As well as giving Dicky Johnson his 50th winner of the season, Cool Sky completed a remarkable run for my runners over jumps …. Since Teak and Drumlang ran so well at Worcester on the 19th, my National Hunt runners have finished 21203301122121.

Cool Sky hasn’t been with me that long, but showed enough on his run on the flat earlier in the month at Chester to suggest his jumps mark of 115 was workable.

Given a lovely, confident ride by Dicky, Cool Sky hit the front at the second last and stayed on well to the line, finishing a length and a half ahead of Ittirad.
