Maharajas Express produced a determined late finish to land the ‘Family Fun Day On 2nd August Handicap’ at Chester on Saturday under David Probert to secure the yard a double on the day!
The six-year-old was settled towards the rear of the 11-runner field before making headway over a furlong from home. Switched to the outside inside the final furlong, Maharajas Express stayed on strongly to lead towards the finish and score by a neck.
It was another determined display from Maharajas Express, who showed plenty of resolve to get up where it mattered most.
