Stable favourite, Teak has proved a wonderful servant since joining Dominion Racing Stables in April 2012, and posted one of the easiest wins of his flat career at Bath when sauntering home almost four lengths clear under a confident Jim Crowley.

Seven of his eight career wins have come for Ian, and he posted the biggest win of his career when landing the Goodwood Stakes over 2m 5f at the Glorious meeting.
In addition to his eight wins, Teak has been placed a dozen times.
He showed his versatility when running a stormer on his chase debut at Worcester in a valuable novice handicap chase in August, and then took a 3m2f Handicap Hurdle at Cartmel last time.
Teak is entered in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket next month, and given fast ground, he would have realistic chances of being competitive in that marathon heritage handicap. A 4lb penalty for his win at Bath will help his chances of making the cut in the historic race at HQ.
