The veteran stayer Reshoun put up a great performance at Newbury to win the Highclere Castle Gin Cup for a second time under an exemplary ride from Jim Crowley.
In 2020, he won this race off a mark of 96 and today as an 8yr old, he won the valuable staying handicap from a rating of 101.
Reshoun showed his renowned qualities of toughness and an ability to get a trip as he stayed on stoutly from two down to beat Rock Eagle, by three parts of a length.
