The beautifully bred Dubawi filly, Pure Shores, got off the mark at Wolverhampton today under PJ McDonald.
She’s a half-sister to the yard’s useful stayer Monjeni and had shown plenty of promise on her debut for the yard at Kempton earlier in the month.
Always travelling well in the Dunstall Park fog, PJ brought her through to challenge the favourite Wonderfillo off the home turn and she stayed on well to win by a length and three-quarters.
Her win brings up the half century of flat winners in the UK in 2017 – a great effort from all the team at Dominion Racing Stables!
