Gas Line Boy confirmed his love of the big fences at Aintree by landing the Grand Sefton today under Robbie Dunne.
He finished a gallant 5th in the Grand National in April, and all being well, will be back for another crack at the big one in four months time.
Gas Line Boy looked very unlucky over the Mildmay fences in October, but more than made up for that blip this afternoon.
He overcame trouble in running to lead at the last and then stayed on well to win by four and a half lengths.
All being well, his next race will be the £100k Veterans’ Final at Sandown Park on 6th January.
