Eleven days after winning over hurdles at Soutwell, No Ceiling took advantage of being able to run off his old chase mark, and made a winning debut over fences at Sedgefield.
His record for me now is three wins from seven runs, which is not a bad return for a horse with his rating.
No Ceiling jumped pretty well on his chasing debut, with a mistake at the third fence his only real error.
That was his last chance to run off a mark of 102, so he will find things a bit harder off 116 over hurdles, but, hopefully his chase mark will not suffer as much when he gets assessed again on Tuesday.
