Having won well at Newbury under James Doyle, the same pilot got Boy In The Bar home at Ascot to defy a penalty.

His draw in stall one wasn’t ideal, but James let him find his stride and brought him to challenge inside the final 2f.

Having looked to be held by Harwoods Volante, Boy In The Bar put his head down and battled on well inside the final furlong to win by a neck.
