Michael’s Mount wins on his hurdles debut at Doncaster

Michael’s Mount is my only Grade One entry at Cheltenham next month, and he won well on his debut over hurdles at Doncaster today under Tom O’Brien.

He was a decent middle distance handicapper on the flat for Ed Dunlop and wasn’t too expensive at the Sales last autumn considering his rating.

Tom O’Brien rode him with confidence and he jumped pretty well on his hurdling debut.
