King of Realms had shown plenty of promise in his runs over hurdles at Ascot and Taunton and duly got off the mark with this win on Town Moor under Tom O’Brien.
Tom had every confidence in his mount and made all the running to beat the useful Perfect Harmony by 7 lengths.
This good looking son of King’s Theatre is owned by a partnership including my landlord, Pat Kelly, Sir Alex Ferguson and Dermot Hanafin.
Depending on his revised handicap mark, King of Realms could be a contender for the EBF Final at Sandown in March.
