London Prize won well at Newbury last week under Adam McNamara, and the same combination got the job done at Nottingham this afternoon.

Given a confident hold up ride by Adam, London Prize swooped by the whole field between 3f out and 2f our, and won easily by over three lengths.

The fact that Adam could still claim 5lbs today was just a bonus!

He was reassessed up to a mark of 78 on Tuesday, so I will look for another option before the handicapper has his say.

I bought this winner, Blue Rambler and Banditry from the Bloomfields Sale at Cheltenham in April, and all have run exceptionally well for the yard – not everyone was convinced that was a sale to get involved with, but I’m glad I backed mu judgement.
