Banditry was desperately unlucky on Town Moor on Saturday, but gained compensation in this £45,000 handicap at Chelmsford City under Rab Havlin.
Always well placed, Banditry took up the running after turning for home and the result was never in doubt for the last furlong or so.
This win was well deserved after what happened at Doncaster, and he is the sort of horse who will keep improving.
