Kimifive for Richard Gurr backed up his run on the course yesterday by winning the John Akehurst Handicap at Epsom under Luke Morris.
Coming with a powerful late surge, the flashy chestnut stormed up the hill to win by almost three lengths.
This was a 4th career win for the 7yr old, but he has plenty of back-class, including a 2nd in the 2020 Stewards’ Cup and a rating of 96 at his peak.
