Jam Session has not had a run over hurdles for well over a year, but his revival on the flat in recent weeks promised that he would do well at the winter game and so it proved at Market Rasen today.
After Robbie kicked Jam Session into a clear lead two out, the race was over as a contest and he was able to be eased down close home and still win by nearly four lengths.
The 2m4f trip was right up his street and the soft ground was in his favour too, and granted similar conditions he should continue to be competitive over the winter months for Bob Morton.
