Gallant Lion wins at Chepstow

Gallant Lion for GL Racing benefitted from the fitting of blinkers for the first time when defying top weight at Chepstow under Ryan Kavanagh.

The 5yr old roan gelding got a positive ride from Ryan who always had his mount in a prominent position.

Gallant Lion hit the front around 2f out and was clear with a furlong to run, eventually being eased up to beat the favourite by three-quarters of a length.
