Faithful Mount made a successful debut over hurdles at Plumpton under Will Kennedy on Easter Sunday.
As you can see from the picture, Faithful Mount is a gorgeous looking son of Shirocco and with any luck with give his loyal and enthusiastic owners lots of fun under both codes.
Positioned in fifth for most of the trip, Will made his move passing the Railway Station and off the home bend, he was the only one to challenge the front-running favourite, Abidjan.
After a short tussle from the last, Faithful Mount showed his flat class to win well.
He came to me from France last autumn and now that he has settled in, he should be able to be competitive over hurdles and on the flat.
