Poker School made all the running, and jumped well, to post his first win over hurdles at Kempton.
After his silver medals at Doncaster and Carlisle, it was great to get the gold at Kempton.
His patient and enthusiastic bunch of owners include Marcus Aniol, Scott Turner, Lee Westwood, Chubby Chandler, Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding.
Will Kennedy kept things simple by making all the running at his own pace, and getting Poker School to jump well in front.
He has matured both mentally and physically since his hurdling debut in January, and even with a rise in the handicap to come next week, he will continue to be competitive.
With his pedigree including plenty of stamina, it will also be no surprise if he improves over longer distances in time.
