Tonal got his head back in front in the 7f handicap at Ffos Las under Billy Loughnane, keeping on strongly in the closing stages to lead close home and score by a length from Dappled Light.
He was slowly into stride and had to be switched for a run over a furlong out, but finished best to land the contest, recording another success in what has already been a productive year with several wins to his name.
It is good to see him back in the winner’s enclosure, showing his usual determination when the race developed.
