One And Gone returned to winning form when landing the Class 4 Handicap at Goodwood on Friday evening under Ryan Kavanagh.
Held up towards the rear, he was switched off through the early and middle stages before being asked to make his challenge inside the final furlong. He picked up well to lead in the closing strides and kept on to score by a comfortable margin.
It was a second career win for the three-year-old, who had been running consistently in similar company and was rewarded for that form with a well-timed ride.
The win completed a double on the day for the yard, following Wings On Wheels’ success at Market Rasen earlier on the card.
