Munsef was a talented racehorse in his successful career, tallying eight wins including Listed successes and multiple placings in Group company, a peak rating of 112 and amassing a total prize haul of £252,091. He took us on various international ventures, running 2nd in the Stockholm Cup at Taby and ran in the 2009 Melbourne Cup. He was also very durable, and was still winning at the age of 9.
Munsef, nicknamed Mike, is now enjoying life with new owner Judith and her daughter Pippa, read below to hear how he is getting on:
Munsef joined our family five years ago and immediately settled into our chilled-out routine. Pippa my daughter has taken him to her heart, and both have guided each other. Pip is not competitive but has joined a riding club and does flatwork, poles and show jumping.
Mike is so clever; he watches what is going on and copies! When Pip wobbles, he stops and lets her sort herself out. As time has progressed, they have both enjoyed fun rides and galloping across fields. He is a joy to own and one in a million.
