Wings on Wheels secures his first win!

Wings On Wheels opened his account when landing the Class 4 Handicap at Market Rasen on Friday afternoon under a confident ride from Charlie Todd.

Held up through the early stages, the gelding travelled comfortably before being asked to close from off the pace approaching the home turn. He made steady headway to challenge in the straight and stayed on well in the closing stages to lead inside the final furlong, going on to score in decisive fashion.

It was a first career win for Wings On Wheels, who had shown promise in previous starts and was rewarded for stepping forward on his earlier efforts.
