We are devastated to report the loss of the much-loved RESTORER.
Sadly, following a catastrophic injury yesterday he was unable to be saved. The loveable grey has been a cared for by the team for six years and will be deeply missed by all, especially his regular rider, friend and polo provider, Steve.
Throughout his career Restorer was a talented performer, winning a total of seven races, with highlights including the Listed James Seymour Stakes at Newmarket and the Diamond Handicap at Chester. Restorer loved what he did and continued running with vigour and enthusiasm despite his veteran age bracket, finishing second by a head on just his previous start.
He was a yard favourite that will leave a large hole in the team at Dominion Stables, but we are sure he will be eating polos and spooking at cameramen in the sky!
Rest in Peace, Restorer.
