A sad day at Dominion Racing Stables as we report the loss of our stable star and huge character, MOKAATIL.
He joined the team at Ian Williams Racing in 2018 and has been a firm favourite ever since.
A speedster on the track, MOKAATIL’s career was an impressive one, winning a total of thirteen races, highlights including the esteemed Epsom Dash in 2021 and placing in a Group Three at Newmarket.
He won at nine different racecourses, including producing a hattrick of wins just last summer, showing his enthusiasm and vigour for the game had not waned.
He thoroughly enjoyed life and was happy in his home of seven years, surrounded by the people who cherished and cared for him.
A calm, kind and genuine character, who had his own way of doing things!
He was much loved by all the team here at Ian Williams Racing, especially his everyday rider, Maisie. He was adored by his owners Colin & Graeme, who would visit regularly with their families to spoil him and just enjoy being around him.
Thank you to MOKAATIL for the incredible memories he gave everyone around him. He will not be forgotten.
