Head On for Simon Cox backed up his recent historic win at Worcester with another strong staying success – this time under Liam Harrison.
The 5yr old provided Tom O’Brien with his 1,000th career win over this course and distance last month and today backed that up from a 4lbs higher mark.
As in his previous race, he was outpaced in the run, but his stamina kicked in up the final straight and he was a comfortable length and a half victor at the the line.
