Dancing In Paris produced a fantastic performance at Ascot on Saturday, going one better than his third-place finish in 2024’s Shergar Cup Stayers to land the prestigious prize for owner Joseph Smith.
Ridden by Luke Ferraris, Dancing In Paris was settled towards the rear of the field before making steady headway through the race. He travelled strongly into the closing stages and showed an excellent attitude to power home and take the lead, securing a well-deserved victory.
Having finished third in the same race in 2024, it was particularly pleasing to see Dancing In Paris return to Ascot and go one better this time around. His determination and finishing effort were a credit to him and the team.
