Tonal for Sue Howell defied top weight and a 5lbs penalty by landing the 1m Handicap at Southwell under Ryan Kavanagh, just eight days after his wide margin win at Chelmsford.
Held up early, Ryan made his move from three down. Hitting the front inside the final furlong, he was always going comfortably and came home by a length.
That was our 10th winner in the last 20 days with the good run being started by Beylerbeyi in the Cesarewitch on 11th October.
