Tonal for Sue Howell made it five wins from his last seven starts when beating stablemate Shafdar under Ryan Kavanagh at Chelmsford – his win over this course and distance in October came off 51 and tonight he won off 74.
This evening, Ryan bided his time before making his challenge off the home turn. Showing a decent turn of foot and good attitude, Tonal quickly put the race to bed and hit the line a length clear of the favourite.
