Thunder Flash lost his maiden tag, although he didn’t pass the post first!
After a lengthy enquiry, the Stewards gave the decision our way and Thunder Flash was awarded the race.
The win looked unlikely after he got bumped at the start and dropped to the rear.
He had plenty to do before the home turn, and it wasn’t until he switched right a furlong out that he ran on strongly.
