Tailorman won an eventful 2m Handicap at Chester under an excellent ride from Andrew ‘Midge’ Mullen.
The race-winning move didn’t come a furlong out, or off the home turn, it came with a whole circuit to run when Midge rushed Tailorman up to take the lead, after the early pace had slackened.
Midge then had to worry about the out-of-c0ntrol Addosh who rushed up to take the lead down the back.
Tailorman was pushed back to the front before the home turn and stayed on strongly to win by a length and a quarter.
