Sir Maximilian wins at Chester … again!

The legend that is the veteran Sir Maximilian made a successful step up to 7f at the age of 10 to post an 11th career win, and a 3rd at Chester.

Always well placed, he made his challenge a furlong down and he stayed on strongly to beat Gabrial The Saint by three parts of a length.

Some 2,653 days after breaking his duck with success in a maiden at Doncaster, Sir Max has enjoyed a great career, winning three times in Ireland, twice in Dubai and six times in the UK.
