Simiyann for Martin Hall came from last-to-first to win over two miles at Haydock under David Probert.
Making his move once turning for home, Simiyann stretched out well in the final two furlongs and held off the renewed challenge of The Crafty Mole by a head.
This was a third career win for Simiyann, but a first success on turf.
