Seven De Baune gets off the mark over hurdles at Ludlow

Seven De Baune showed plenty of promise on his debut over at Cheltenham last month over two miles, and he built on that effort to get off the mark over hurdles at Ludlow.

This event represented a drop in class and the step up to 2m5f suited this likeable son of Tiger Groom who should progress as the season develops.

Always prominent, he jumped well and after hitting the front four out, the race was never in doubt.

Noel squeezed his mount on the home turn and the immediate response put distance between him and his toiling rivals with the final winning margin being 22 lengths.
