Secret Legacy had shown plenty of promise on his three UK runs for the yard at Leicester, Carlisle and Haydock, so his success at Uttoxeter under Tom O’Brien was fully deserved.
Different tactics were used today and Tom held Secret Legacy up in rear for most of the race.
He made a move to get closer after three out, and joined issue with Hurricane Dylan at the final flight before buckling down to fit out the finish, eventually winning by half a length.
