Royal Village made it four wins from 11 runs over fences and took his career earnings to over £100,000 when winning at Southwell under Tom O’Brien.
The final stages were full of drama as the long time leader, Overtoujay ran around on the run to the final fence, taking Royal Village almost off the course.
Tom got his mount back inside the wings to jump the last, and then stayed on strongly on the flat to beat Overtoujay by half a length.
