Rock Chant enjoyed the step up to 2m and posted a first win for the yard with a wide margin success at Lingfield under Ben Sanderson.
He showed a decent level of form last time out when running 2nd over 14f and today put the race to bed off the home turn.
The final winning margin was three and three quarter lengths over Anisoptera.
