Rock Chant made all the running under an imperious Cieren Fallon to land the Racing Welfare Handicap at Chelmsford City.
This takes his recent record over 2m to three wins from his last four starts, having won at Lingfield and Wolverhampton last month.
Fallon set the fractions to suit his mount and after quickening the tempo before the home turn, Rock Chant stayed on gamely to hold Cedar Cage by a length and a quarter.
