Reshoun wins at Newbury

The classy stayer Reshoun for Dr Marwan Koukash put up a solid performance to win the Marsh Cup at Newbury under Jim Crowley.

Always well placed just off the speed, Reshoun – wearing a visor for the first time – made his move with two furlongs to run.

Hitting the front around a furlong down, he battled on well for pressure to win by three parts of a length at the line.
