Reshoun’s main end of season target was the November Handicap at Doncaster, but with that meeting being called off due to the flooding in South Yorkshire, he came to Kempton and posted a first win of the year, over 2m, under Jim Crowley.
Success looked unlikely three out when Reshoun was under pressure, and still had plenty to do a furlong down.
Rallying for pressure in the final 150 yards, he stayed on gamely to the line to beat Busy Street by three parts of a length.
