Red Infantry got off the mark over fences on just his third attempt when making all the running over three miles at Doncaster under Robbie Dunne.
Wearing a visor for the first time, Red Infantry jumped pretty well all the way and he eventually stayed on to beat Nightline by three and a half lengths.
Now that he’s got his head in front over the larger obstacles, he should pay his way in staying handicaps over the next few months.
