Night On Earth for Spencer Coomes showed his customary blistering early pace and then held on bravely under a strong ride from Charlie Todd to land the SkyBet Jump Jockeys’ Nunthorpe at York.
The 6/1 favourite took advantage of a drop in class to post an 11th career which took his lifetime earnings to over £135,000.
The winning margin was a neck from the 2023 winner Soul Seeker and he stopped the clock under 60 seconds.
