Monjeni made a winning debut for the yard when landing the 1m6f handicap at Wolverhampton under Josie Gordon.
Josie settled her mount in 3rd on the rail for most of the trip, and made her race winning move soon after the final turn for home.
Monjeni showed a decent turn of foot for a stayer to put distance between himself and the field a furlong down, before winning by two lengths.
