It’s been a while since Mokaatil got his head in front – Boris Johnson was still PM when he last won in August 2022 – but tonight, on his 78th start, the veteran sprinter posted his 10th career win under Billy Loughnane.
Looked to have plenty to do at halfway, but Billy stuck to the rail and had a clear run up the home straight. He stayed on well from a furlong down to get up in the very last stride.
That was our 18th win for the year to date!
