Mary for Eventmasters got off the mark over hurdles by making all the running at Stratford under Sean Bowen.
Jumping well and building up a big lead by halfway, Sean gave Mary a chance to finish her race off by stepping off the gas after three out.
Mary responded generously for pressure after the last to come home 2.25 lengths ahead of the field.
