Liberated Lad bounced back after his disappointment at Newcastle on Sunday to win again at Southwell, this time under Alec Voikhansky.
The 5yr old didn’t get the best start and still had plenty to do half a mile out.
Sticking to the inside, he made his challenge after the turn for home and after hitting the front over a furlong down, he stayed on strongly to win by two lengths.
He could turn out again at Lingfield on Friday.
