Il Presidente got off the mark over hurdles when winning under Tom O’Brien at Market Rasen today.
Tom always had his mount in a good position and having joined issue two out, he took up the running at the last.
Under pressure up the run-in, Il Presidente stayed on well to win by a length and a half from Nicki’s Nipper.
